Gaura sighed happily when he heard that sentence. Because it was so much how he felt too and it warmed his heart every time to know that Henry felt the same.
"I feel so lucky to have met you and won your heart. And I think I shall always feel lucky to be able to spend my days with you. I love you more and more with each passing day, Jisu."
His cheeks grew so warm when he heard that and he buried his face against Henry's neck a little. But he was smiling the entire time, thrilled every time the man said things like that to him.
That fierce promise stole his breath away. Licking his lips, he watched Henry and he knew that he meant those words. Every single one. "Henry," he breathed out, completely in awe at the passion of this man.
Reaching up, he pressed his palm to Gaura's cheek. His expression softened, but that intensity lingered in his pale eyes. He truly wasn't the sort to fight for much. However, once he's set his mind to something, nothing can sway him.
Ah, but having Gaura in his life made him better. Less self-centric... and certainly Gaura helped to keep him from getting too caught up in his pursuits. He hasn't walked off any cliff lately, at least.
Gaura felt like his heart was going to beat out of his chest. For this man right here in front of him. Because of what he was saying to him. Resting a hand over the one against his cheek, he let out a soft laugh and smiled so fondly at this man.
His heart swelled to hear those words, even if he felt them every day. Every single day was so full of Gaura's love and support. Henry only hoped he did half as much for Gaura as Gaura did for him.
"We should probably clean up," he mused sheepishly. Totally not just an excuse to take a bath with his fiance. Nope.
Gaura smiled at him and pressed a kiss to his lips before nodding. He would love to take a bath with him. Due to his wings they always had to be facing each other these days but he didn't mind. If anything he loved it more because he could watch that handsome face the whole time.
Sliding off of his lap, he held his hand out to Henry.
He'd be lying if he said he didn't miss having Gaura lean back against him in the bath, but he's certainly not complaining about seeing his beloved's face more. Henry smiled up at Gaura and took the offered hand to pull himself up from their bed. Since Gaura acquired his wings, Henry's done a lot of research on how to bathe and care for the feathers. Not only would it be a difficult task for Gaura, he really just enjoyed being able to help him with it.
The nice thing about living alone together again was that they didn't have to worry about covering up for the walk from their bedroom to the bathroom. Once there, Henry hummed thoughtfully.
"Hot please. I'd like to stay in there with you a little longer than usual."
It would just be so nice to be able to sit there in the water together. Gazing at each other and gently cleaning each other. He smiled almost shyly, he stepped closer to linger near the man while he filled the tub. Just so he could be near him really. It felt nice to be like this.
As if Henry wouldn't enjoy that, too! Time spent with his beloved Gaura is never time wasted, even if they're doing nothing more than sitting together.
Henry turns the tap and stoppers the drain, leaving the water to run until it steams. Once it begins to fill, he turns to offer his hand to Gaura to help him into the bath. He steps in just after him, hissing quietly as the heat of the water laps at his skin.
Taking his hand, he shuddered a little as the heat sank into him before lowering himself down to sit with Henry. Scooting closer, he let his wings stretch a little to rest on either side of the tub to keep them out of the way. Then he smiled and reached up to run his fingers along Henry's handsome features.
Henry reaches to catch Gaura's hand, pressing his cheek into his beloved's palm. Letting those pale eyes fall closed, he nuzzles against Gaura's hand lovingly. His fingers move gently over the back of Gaura's hand as he holds it in place. When he opens his eyes once more, they're full of warmth and affection.
"Me too. I never realized my life was incomplete until we met."
Now it was hard to picture his life without him. Even if he was quite sure they'd have to part eventually. But hopefully that wouldn't be for quite awhile. He wanted to continue to spend years and years with this man that he adored so much. "I'm so glad you asked me to live with you..."
