Henry spends a good portion of his time at home. For days on end, he'll sit in his study, collecting the information he's found on the native flora and fauna of Nippon. Though, he does take a walk every day with Gaura and they've begun to take short weekend trips to other areas, he is, what they call, a homebody.

But he's been getting more, in part thanks to his bicycle and making deliveries for Gaura. But a short time ago he was home when his fiance had a visitor and he couldn't help overhearing a part of their conversation. Which is why he's now wandering out to the garden to find Gaura and present him with something he hopes his beloved will accept.

"Jisu, do you have a moment?"

Gaura had been making sure that the sturdier plants would still be alright in the cold. They were coming out of the worst of it now but that didn't mean he should treat them with less care. Though, he could pause in his work to look over at Henry with curiosity. And a smile.

Brushing off his hands, he smiled and took off his gloves to set them aside. "Of course. What is it?"

A slow smile spread across his face as he moved close enough to lean in and steal a very quick kiss. Practice, he told himself!

"I have a surprise for you." And saying that, he held out a few pieces of paper: a deed to a large plot of land and a business license to grow coffee plants.

"I was home when I heard you and your friend talking... I wanted to help."

"A surprise?"

Taking the deed, he gasped softly as he read it. It was under Henry's name but that didn't bother him. He knew what Henry was doing here by giving him this, by letting him be in charge of what was written here.

"Henry, you... You're so wonderful."

Moving forward, he threw his arms around the man he loved.

Henry expected a response like that and had prepared himself for the hug. His arms wound around Gaura's waist to hold him tight. Even though they were in the garden, he wanted to show his fiance his affection.

"I hope this helps."

"It will. It will help so much. Thank you."

He cupped his face then gave him a kiss and another bright smile. He hadn't been sure how they'd make this work but now they could really get this going. And with Will in charge of the customers they'd really be able to do so much with this.

Henry flushed dark at the kiss, but he didn't pull away or let his fiance go. In fact, he tugged Gaura a little closer, a slow smile spreading over his lips.

"If there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know."

"I think there will be once we're able to set up the cafe. You can probably deliver the daily baked goods there. That way I'll be able to stay here and tend to the garden." But that was something for them to figure out later. Right now he was busy cupping his face and laughing softly with how happy he was.

"You're making this come true. I love you so much."

"Anything you need, my dear," he reaffirmed. What kind of man would he be if he didn't help to support his fiance's dreams? All Gaura ever did was support his! Henry's smiled brightly, his eyes warm and full of fondness for the man before him. Then he leaned in slowly for another kiss. Practice, he reminded himself!

"Thank you." Cupping his face, he kissed him so warmly, loving this man even more than he already did. Henry would never stop proving how amazing he was. Of that he was absolutely certain. This sweet and beautiful man who wanted him just as much as he wanted him in return. "Thank you."

Henry laughed softly against Gaura's lips. His arms moved around his little bird's waist, mindful of his wings, and with what little strength he had, Henry lifted Gaura off his feet and gave him a little spin. Right there in their garden!

"You don't have to thank me for anything. I will always do whatever I can to help you achieve your dreams, Jisu."

Gaura gasped at the sudden spin. Then he burst into giggles, very impressed by Henry's effort. After all, he was sure he was a little bit heavier than his fiance due to how much physical labor he did every single day.

When he was back on his feet, he ran his fingers through Henry's hair. "I honestly never really had dreams before. But here in this place I've really started to realize them and that they could be more than passing fancies. I'm forever grateful to have met you and be supported by you."

It was an effort, but Henry's not to say that! Gaura was worth any effort he had to exert without exception!

Henry tilted his head into Gaura's touch, his smile soft but his pale eyes looking more focused than ever. "You deserve to have your dreams come true." A brief pause and then, "When I first came here, I was unhappy to be torn from my life. But with you I've found more purpose than I ever had before."

His gaze softened at the confession. Not because he felt sorry for what Henry had felt but simply because he loved this man and it meant something to have such a thing shared with him. So, he gently pressed a little kiss to his lips.

"My greatest dream right now is to make you happy. Knowing that I do that each and every day? I'm truly fulfilled in my life."

Henry sucked in a quick breath. He felt much the same. Being with Gaura, seeing his smiles and sharing in his laughter meant the world to Henry. He held Gaura close and lifted a hand to fun his fingers gently through Gaura's hair and the feathery down there.

"Are you terribly busy right now? We could go inside..." And upstairs to their bedroom.

His cheeks colored in delight and then he shook his head. Anything he had to do right now could wait. The offer was far too tempting to pass up, especially now that he could read the emotions on Henry's face to always know what he was hinting at.

"Let's go. Lead the way."

Henry's smile turned saucy and his fox ears perked. He slipped his arms from around Gaura's waist to take both his hands and lead him away to their house. Through their house without a single stop, up the stairs to the room they called their own. Once they made it there? Henry pushed the door closed and closed any distance between him and Gaura to press a warm, lingering kiss to his fiance's lips. If there was any doubt why Henry wanted to come inside, it was probably gone now.

He melted into that sweet kiss, sliding his hands up to cup the sides of that handsome face. Henry always gave the warmest affection when they were alone like this. Gaura often felt that he could be surrounded by snow and still be warm as long as he had kisses like this. Sighing softly, he smiled into the kiss then reached behind himself to undo the special ties he'd installed in the back of his shirts and sweaters to make it easier to wear them with his wings. Easier to take off too.

With that done now, he gently parted his lips to ask for them to deepen the contact they shared.

Gaura was always so expressive, especially in moments like this. And Henry ate it up. His own upbringing and cultural mores left him feeling more than a little bit shy about sex, but Gaura always encouraged him when he was feeling this way. For that Henry was thankful.

He ran his hands along his fiance's sides, deepening their kiss as he guided them toward their bed. Those deft fingers darted under the hem of Gaura's shirt, pulling a muffled sound from Henry as they trailed over warm skin. When he finally needed to break for air, he stepped away enough to help get Gaura out of his shirt -- always mindful of his beautiful wings.

Lifting his arms, he helped with getting his top off, his feathers fluffing a bit, especially those in his hair. But they settled soon after and he reached to help Henry get out of his clothes too, smiling when he saw skin that only he was ever allowed to experience. His wonderfully handsome man.

Lightly, Gaura ran his fingers over that smooth skin, savoring the feel of it before he leaned in to kiss the man he loved again.

When the air touched his bare skin, Henry shivered a little. But what better excuse to press himself closer to Gaura than that? He hummed quietly against Gaura's lips, delighting in their familiarity and warmth. Though he knows Gaura's had a tough life (without Gaura having to tell him so), he loves that his beloved is still kind and tender. It didn't matter to him that Gaura wasn't his usual type. His heart was beautiful and that only made him more attractive in Henry's eyes.

Henry ran his hands along Gaura's sides and over his back. He let his fingers brush against the places where his wings met his body, sighing quietly at the feel of those feathers. Sure, they complicated how they slept and how they made love, but Henry loved them so much. They were a sign of Gaura's happy relationships he'd found here. He may not know all of Gaura's friends, but he's ever so thankful for them adding to his beloved's happiness.

"I love you so much, Jisu," he murmured against his lips.

Shivering when those fingers met the joints at his back where his wings were, Gaura felt his feathers fluff out a bit. But it felt good so he didn't ask him to stop the contact. Instead, he smiled against his lips and let his hands come up to cup the sides of Henry's neck. For a moment he just stayed like this, enjoying being so close to him.

"I love you too, Henry. So very much."

It was so pleasant just being close like this. He let his fingers brush once more over Gaura's wings, then he let his hands slide down his arms, taking both Gaura's hands to lead them to the bed.
