I do. I made it this morning.

The berries are what I picked today in the garden.

[Gaura laughs softly and nods.]

I cook and bake every day. I like to use what I have in the nursery too.

Wooooow! That's so cool!

[Setting up the coffee, he starts pouring for it and lets that brew while he brings a slice of the cake over as well as the rest with a serving spatula so that way Will can have more if he wants it.]

Really? As much as I like?

(( Poor Gaura. He's going to have to whip up some more treats! Will wiggles into a seat and digs into that first slice of the cake. He closes his eyes and all but squeals at the first bite! ))

It's so good!

[Getting the coffee done, he puts it in a large cup and fixes it up the way it was requested before bring it over with a cup of his own. Sitting down, he smiles at Will.]

I can send you home with some other things I've made when you head out. And I'll make a thermos of hot chocolate for you to drink while you walk too so you will be able to stay warm.

(( Woooooow! He could eat that whole cake! And he probably will. Shh. Don't judge him. Gaura is too nice. Move over Pete, you're gonna have to share your BFF title. ))

[That makes him blink and then laugh gently as he nods.]

Of course. I'd love that.

(( He shoves another bite of cake into his mouth and, once it's chewed and swallowed, sips happily at the coffee. A quiet mmm sounds from him and he smiles, so blissed by cake and coffee. ))

Your garden is lovely! I saw you have a greenhouse, too! Do you grow orchids?

Several breeds of them actually. Henry and I actually did some trials together a few months back and we were gifted with soul items. Mine are gloves that I can use to grow any plant that I can think of. Or dream of sometimes. So I filled my garden as much as possible.

[And he loves it. It feels so good to finally be so surrounded by plants all the time.]

Ah~ Orchids are one of my favorites.

(( Will sighs happily, both at the thought of his tropical flowers and at the Gaura's charming hospitality. ))

So you can grow any plant? I'm limited to flowering plants. It's easier for me when the season is right for it, too. Can you grow anything whenever you want?

If you'd like to take one of them home with you I'll pot up your favorite.

[For when they get outside. He's not going to stop Will from enjoying cake.]

Mm. I can. As long as I wear the gloves. [Gaura's head tilts.]

(( He listened with rapt attention, even as he took another sip of his coffee. ))

Mmhmm! I'm a floral Fae, so I can grow anything that flowers.

Henry has a friend who is a Fae. Riley?

[He's not had the chance to really speak to him but he always loves when he hears about Henry's wanderings during the day. If he's made any, of course. Today, for example, he's pretty sure his fiance is lost in his study with his nose in his books. He'll have to check later so he knows if he needs to bring him food.]

Once we go outside would you mind if I watched your magic?

Riley's my boyfriend!

(( And he's so proud of that! (Somewhere upstairs, Henry sneezes). Will takes another bite of the cake, scrunching up his face in absolute delight. It's so very good he can't stop himself from shoving another bit in his mouth. ))

Of course! I don't mind at all.

Oh! That's wonderful! I'm happy for you two.

[Two people this joyful are wonderful together in his eyes. He's glad they have each other. Laughing softly, he smiles warmly at Will.]

Thank you. I'm still getting used to magic so getting to learn from others would be wonderful.

I can't promise I'll be any help, but I'm willing to try. The magic here is different from the magic I know.

That's still more advanced than me. I never knew magic existed until I got here.

(( He takes another sip, holding the mug between his hands to absorb some of the warmth. ))

I'm learning it's very hard to find coffee here outside of Yokohama.

Is it? I don't tend to get coffee when I go out. But my hands are usually full with what I've gone shopping for...

Have a lot of people been wanting it?

I know some folks who would love to be able to get it more readily.

Something like that would require a lot more coffee plants. Likely a dedicated area to grow them where they could have room and an entire greenhouse just for them.

Oh, for sure. (( Will nods in agreement. But now he's thinking... ))

If you could create them, I could definitely take care of them.
